Description:
3D laser scanning was conducted across a section of an existing production process, with approximately 150 scan positions captured to document the current site conditions in detail. The collected point cloud data will be used to develop an accurate 3D model, which will support the preparation of a preliminary design for a future production capacity expansion.
Scope of Work:
1. 3D Laser Scanning:
Performed comprehensive 3D laser scanning of the existing production area.
Captured approximately 150 scan positions to ensure complete coverage and accurate documentation of the existing equipment, structures, and surrounding infrastructure.
2. Point Cloud Processing:
Registered and processed the collected laser scanning data to create a complete and reliable point cloud of the scanned area.
Prepared the data for further 3D modeling and engineering design activities.
3. 3D Modeling:
Developed the 3D model from the processed point cloud data to accurately represent the existing production environment.
Structured the model to support the preliminary design and future equipment installation planning.
4. Design & Remote Coordination Support:
Provided the project team, located at a different location, with a detailed digital representation of the existing facility.
Enabled the team to remotely review existing conditions, coordinate design decisions, and communicate more effectively with the equipment supplier during the preliminary design phase.
